Didn't really notice the paint job in the hall until today. They only just painted it a few days ago. One wall is dark brown, and the wall opposite is dark blue. Seems odd.  Even with the lights on, it is quite dark in the hall.

So my boss is on vacation for a week, and didn't tell me. I only found out when the CEO came in to talk to me.

Just saw the driver of a ute scream his head off at a jogger he had to slow down to avoid.*
The jogger just kept jogging along, waving apologetically back at the guy at first, then flipping him off after a while when he still wouldn't shut up and kept shouting obscenities down the street. All without breaking stride, it was rather impressive. And amusing, of course.

_{*I'm assuming that's why, anyway- I just heard a screech of tires and looked around to see the jogger hurriedly getting out of the way, crossing some little side street.}
