Serbs and Croatians are okay together, actually. The language spoken by Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, and arguably Montenegrins is Serbo-Croatian. It just has four different literary norms.

Ah.. The relations between the people of the former Yugoslavia are way fucked up, that's true. It's not so bad now, though - for example, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats live in relative peace despite all the terrible shit that happened. Granted, the Serbs of Bosnia have autonomy, but still. There's a chance everything will eventually be mostly alright.
