* The death knight hovers over the child, preparing to deal the final strike that will end her life.
The child, seemingly not realizing this, simply looks up at the knight and says:
"Awwww, look, the knight thinks he's badass. That's sooo cute!"
* The knight, dumbfounded, lowers his blade and begins to think on what the child said.
Still thinking, he sits down on the nearby corpse of a warrior king.
He is still thinking, still dumbfounded at what the child said, that he doesn't notice the girl take his sword.
In fact, he still doesn't notice while the child starts playing with it; trying to swing it around.
Finally, he notices - but only because the child has somehow managed to cleave his left leg off.
"Awwww, look, the knight thinks he's bleeding to death. That's sooo cute!"
The child smiles an innocent smile, and saunters off; knowing that she had avenged her family - and more importantly, her favorite doll that the death knight had stepped on.

So today I decided to learn Serbo-Croatian, particularly the Serbian variety of it. In my investigations of the Southern Slavic languages, I have come upon several phrases which, to a Russian speaker, sound impossibly hilarious. Like, impossibly. Here, I'll show you.

The immortal work of one Mitchell, "Gone with the Wind" is called "Прохуило са вихором" in Serbian. Of course, there's no direct equivalent to these words in Russian, but judging by the word roots, I would take it to mean

I am unsure if this is a correct summation of the plot.

In Chezh, the phrase "Attention! The police warns: [of something]" is something like "Pozor! Policije varuje:[]" ( I cannot vouch for the accuracy of this translation, but something like that). In Russian, the same phrase undebatably means
