I don't lie, I'm just highly sarcastic. Also both are anime that can quickly be looked up and deemed "not cuie-wootie material" just by reading a synopsis on Wikipedia. I thought it was a funny joke. In my head. Because I didn't have to explain it. It probably wasn't funny.

To be fair, the anime adaption at least ends on a not-entirely-dark note. Though that's not saying much, considering that it still has the scene on the beach with Bando and Lucy, as well everything else that happens to Nana, among other things.

Has anyone noticed how many turn based strategy RPGs are... not really strategy games. They are just RPGs on a Grid... but fights still play out like ordinary RPG fights except slower?

Been trying to find some strategy RPGs to play... but I keep ending up with games like that.

The strategy RPGs I've played mostly just use positioning to make it feel strategic. The best ones IMO are almost puzzle games in that you need to find out which characters to move where for the safest possible strategy, and trying to avoid a general every-man-for-himself melee. Like Fire Emblem, although I've only played the older ones translated on an emulator.

How somebody can hate anime is beyond me.
It's like hating air, sure there's some really dirty and shitty air around factories and cities but that doesn't mean all air is bad :V
(Unless you dislike the animation style in which case I feel sorry for you since there's some pretty good anime out there)

Reading some delicious /r/Christianity drama, when suddenly:

Do you think that once legal marriage equality is achieved that these lobbying groups are just going to close up and go home? No legal gay marriage is only the first step towards the larger goal of silencing anyone who disagrees with them and imposing 100% affirmation by society. In time I predict some of these groups will actually try to criminalize heterosexuality and Christianity. Straight Kids will be ostracized if they refuse offers of gay dates, and parents who encourage them too could be jailed. People who believe that marriage is between one man and one woman could be arrested, jailed, fined and lose their jobs.
