I don't have a problem with it either. What I do have a problem is the weather patterns are getting wierder every year. This year we had a very warm winter, and I expected a stupidly hot summer. Instead we got a very wet and rather mild summer. I dread to think what fall is going to be like.

My brother has adopted two potatoes by drawing faces on them.

He usually loves hashbrowns, but when we made them for breakfast he absolutely refused to eat them.

When I asked him why, he said, "Because it would be like eating my children!"

It actually sounds a bit like something my childhood self would have done. I remember always feeling uneasy eating biscuits shaped like critters, and that sort of thing. Although I don't think I ever actually adopted any foodstuffs... apart from that one carrot, anyway.

Hang on... according to family legend I did fall down a stairway as a toddler.
And when I was a tad older my niece (weird family, long story) knocked me unconscious with a cricket bat, one of the earliest events I remember... well, remember the moments immediately before and after it, anyway.
