Wow, God is a dick.

God just didn't account for evolution to happen after he created life on Earth.

Aliens will be salvationable after the next hotfix.

In certain versions of Christianity, yes, very much so.

I just don't honestly see where evolution contradicts creationism. It isn't like evolution didn't happen within the context of the bible itself... like in Genesis.

Creationism says that Earth was created 6000 years ago. Evolution and paleontology say that this is so damn not the case.

The issue is that, if you take Genesis literally, God personally sculpted man in his own image, and breathed life in to him. So Creationists take personal offense to Evolution because it removes this direct influence of God. Also, according to the bible, only humans have souls. So no, aliens wouldn't go to hell, any more than dogs/cats/cows/anything else goes to hell. Aliens wouldn't have souls, so it's a non issue.

But if you take it literally the snake had limbs... and then it didn't.

Also, if you take Genesis literally, you can get spotted and striped animals by showing the mating animals patterned sticks.

I...don't think it works like that.

Well there's only one way to find out.

What animals are cheap to get in large numbers?

Well, I'm not saying it makes SENSE, just explaining their point. Even when I was practicing Catholic I thought the people who took the bible literally were nutters, my priest agreed.

Where do they pull the no. 6000 from anyway? Always been curious. Same with the apocalyptic preachers when they "calculate" the date for the end of the world, anyone know where they get the numbers from?

For the 6000 it's done by adding up people's ages and stuff, so finding references of when person B was alive and how old person A was at the same time, then continue counting up like that.
And I think the apocalyptic predictions are on the same level as "HL3 confirmed" stuff.

HL3 has 3 letters.
Confirmed is an imperfect anagram of half-life
HL3 confirmed
