Although my parents travelled all over the country growing up and were/are pretty old, and a lot of the people around me either moved in or were 2nd/3rd generation Asian immigrants... so I guess I would be hard to guess.

I've seen a restaurant offering meat from a lava grill today. In two languages, so it can't have been a mistranslation. According to my Google-fu, it's probably a brand, but if it is true, this is the proof that DF is spilling into the real world. It is would also be hilariously badass.

I know that in the Canary islands there's a couple of restaurants that have their kitchens over volcanic vents where they use the hot air to cook food. Unfortunately they also let tourists in to gawk at the food and probably dirty it up.
