I've been here for about 6-7 months and I'm nearing 3k posts.

Neither of these are good things. In fact I'd say a disproportionately high post count compared to join date means someone might just have nothing interesting to say.

7 posts per day seems a tad low for me, actually. I tend to concentrate in the discussion topics so I'll post a couple posts per thread per hour it seems. :v

That's because it's an average post count of every post you have made and every day on which you have posted (the phraseology was less awkward in my head...).

Anyway, my profile says 3 posts per day, because there was a period of a year or so where I didn't actually visit Bay12 at all.

Huh.  Just a little under three years?  I'm pretty sure I was lurking for a while before I finally registered though.  Certainly feels like longer than three years.
