In general, women lack the upper body strength required to compete with men in card games. Also, if they're menstruating, then they might attract wild bears into the tournament.

And their reasoning was literally "if we let women in, there's a possibility that they could win, and if they win they go to the tournament in Korea, which doesn't allow women, so there's conflict there".

The problem here is Hearthstone, not SC2.

IF you read the article, you'd know there are Women SC2 players. Just in a seperate league. And they can only play SC2 or Tekken. And men can't play Tekken, but can play Dota 2, and Hearthstone. But they can't play SC2 with women.

You know.

See, but with e-sports, you have to start with a game that can be at best only mildly fun and already extremely competitive (see: Dota, LoL, other MOBAs, Starcraft, etc,) and make it less fun and more competitive.

The most bizarre thing about this is how Hearthstone, of all things, is male-only.

It is a card game. It does not require some precision timing, or any mechanical skills. So why?
