Well, I find that the idea of a short post is foolish and unneeded, when instead we can make long, fluent, and hilarious posts. Jokes that go on and on and on and on and oooooooooon, and then song lyrics, and then stories about going to your grandmother's for some tea, and then mayhap discussing the recipe and the qualities of said recipe of your grandmothers Veggie-sticks, while also taking the longest, constipated dump ever known to man while subsequently stabbing a baby monkey in the neck while it's on fire BECAUSE. I. CAN.

I'm amazed at how no one took the opportunity for the C-C-CCCOMBO BREAKER joke. I commend you for not making it, you creative sonofabitch.

Now you see the problem with that is that overly long shitposts are still also just shitposts. Saying things laconically is all good and all, but saying nothing in short sentences is just noise.

Stop having fun.

    Words convey meaning, bud.
Of course they do, but if the meaning is of little substance... The meaning is of little substance.

Look up addendum 1 subsection 5-7 in the 'fun shall be won by the toiling of grammar nazis' code of conduct:

    • 5] I swear by all that is ok and adequate and on my honour as a citizen-soldier of the internet that all I shall post will be in some way thought-provoking, emotional and/or else convey some information of such greatness that future generations can look upon fondly and applaud the wisdom and skill of their ancestors.
    • 6] I shall strive to build quality posts that provide insights that change peoples' lives even if only to impart the smallest reflection of any facet of their life. I shall do so without regard to whether the post pioneers new ground or merely repeats what is known in its own way; I shall never feign to waste my freedom on creating distractions over art.
    • 7] If I should break these tenets, I shall cast away myself from the internet into the deepest dark pits of the outside world under the sun until I have learnt the 404 errors of the truths I have not found and embarked on my vigilant journey to improve the infinite dialogue one post at a time.

I am tempted to make this a thing.

    Constrained writing is poetry.
    Poetry is technically valuable.
    Not sure why though.

That, yet again, begs the question:

    IS SEX CREEPY??

    Not begs, but raises.

    Begging the question: fallacy.

    Raising a question: action.

    Anything can be creepy.

    It depends on context.

Poetry is poetry; constrained writing is not by necessity poetry.
Poetry is worthless without the value we give it, for what value is a poem without someone to read it?
