Here's a slightly confusing problem:

Four point charges exist, a +Q charged one, a +2Q charged one, and two fixed chargable point materials A and B. The charges are laid out like the following diagram. Find the ratio of the electric forced experienced by a to that experienced by b.

Logically all charges would influence the other charges, but the answer is simple comparing one pair at a time.  :/

Can't tell from this, but are they comparing the [+Q,A] and [+2Q,A] interactions to the [+Q,B] and [+2Q,B] interactions, or only [+Q,A] to [+2Q,B]? The distance between the two sets being unspecified makes it sound like two independent systems...

If not and they are all interacting then it's a case of superposition. The total electric field at a point (and so the force experienced by a charge at that point) is a sum of the fields generated by each charge. So we could look at each pair independently and then sum the interactions, rather than trying to calculate everything in one go.

...I find that comparison and praise very questionable but won't say more than that since I don't want to cause a scene.

Ok well yeah GWG was punished for a legitimate reason unlike Ghandi, but its a metaphor dude. Basically I'm just saying GWG was a cool guy, and deleting that coolness cuz of the less cool things he did is silly.
