I've always found that funny, given that the internet is so widespread, and women are actually a majority of the population in the US (according to the CIA Factbook.) Hell, around the world, it's 9 men to 10 women. I don't think I'll ever understand the "boys only club" mentality of people on the internet.

Technically "he" can be used to refer to the gender neutral singular, though I tend to find "they" preferable (or "it" for animals) so try and use they and just word my way "around" gender via sentence structure. Just gets confusing, otherwise.

Damn lack of a gender neutral pronoun in the English language.

I just put some bread with cheese in the microwave. Usually the bread goes soft and the cheese flows all over the place and off the bread.

This time the bread instead turned into toast(?!) and the cheese didn't leave the surface of the bread.
