It's true if you look out at the night sky in a rural area and trace stars you can outline a cat head with the stars at almost any location in the night sky. Coincidence? I think not.
Then there's the secret world government and Bob Barker's whole spay and neuter your pets thing. The government knows cats are powerful and they want to limit civilian access to them just incase they discover the secret. The government uses cats to power nuclear weapons, and power plants, but they use an inefficient method that kills the cat in the process, while cats can produce much more power if they give it willingly. The government fears civilians discovering this and overthrowing them. What does this remind you of?
Kefka.
Clearly the government is evil and trying to keep cat power to themselves. Because the universe revolves around cats, we've just been tricked to believe otherwise. The universe revolves around every cat in the world simultaneously. The powerful space cats are just the ones that have grown so powerful they can defy the universe's wishes.
In Japanese mythology there are creatures called Nekomata. They believed them to be exceptionally long lived cats, but they are truly space cats come back to earth to observe us. However the roman empire discovered cat power when they took over Egypt, and fearing their own power would be used for the detriment of the universe they fled back to space, where they watch from afar. Could somebody have simply imagined such creatures? Of course not, it is clear indisputable evidence of early space cat visits.
The collapse of the roman empire fortunately stopped the development of cat power for a time, but we have made up the lost progress and soon the space cats will return in force to stop our abuse of their earthbound brethren.
