A bit dusty, but not really that dirty. Also the thing is my gas mask and there is no way there should be dog hair INSIDE the mask. Unless my dogs have been going to the zone without me, in which case we need to have a talk.

Poor critters tend to have pretty terrible health problems though, last I checked. Dogs can get that big, but they're not very good at living at that point ;_;

Which is kinda' sad. The few I've met that large were really friendly fellows.

Yeesh. I know breeds that get up to around waist level/120ish lbs have it bad already in terms of health issues, I don't even want to think about what dogs that big have to deal with.

I just assume they've been genetically engineered so that they don't have the health problems. The sci-fi ones I mean.

The sci-fi ones probably are. Ours have just been clumsily engineered to be big, without much else in the way of concerns.

In Earth Science, we learned what a "drumlin" is, and the guy next to me (one of the class clowns, partaking in jokes such as how the kids in LOTF could get off their boat shaped island by turning it on) decided how he should name his son that.

Let me know if you meet a kid named Drumlin around the time Dwarf Fortress 1.0 comes out.
