Just decided that maybe I should actually give PewDiePie a chance, and watched one of his videos...

You say that as if watching people scream at horror games while recording a facecam is the most unentertaining thing ever. Some people's expressions and reactions are really interesting to watch.

I actually watched a Pewdiepie vid once, before I had actually heard about him. It was the middle of the night and I had just discovered Slender and was watching various blind LP videos of it. Dude seemed ok, although his voice is a bit annoying from what I remember. The video was entertaining as a one time viewing focusing on the gameplay and reactions over the LPer. His fanbase is cancer though.

I watched Pdp a few times, he does kind of grate on you after awhile.  I went to Markiplier instead for the horror games, hes far more enjoyable.

Is this normal for them? A story about a bunch of Satanists holding a ceremony got the following (paraphrased) comments from the on-screen pundits:
"If this were just an exercise in First Amendment rights, they should go all the way and burn Korans!"
"This is just bigotry against Christians! They are perverting Christian worship and have been doing so for hundreds of years!"
"This is an outrage!"

I guess those jokes about this network aren't all that exaggerated ._.

They're underexaggerated if anything.

It did mostly. The alternate universes were mostly present in the concurrently running web serials that started during the 2007 storyline. Said serials did continue for a small amount of time after the ending  before Farshtey stopped writing them all together. (Leaving an annoying amount of cliffhangers too)
