Or can look upward.
Yeah. Yeah, look up into the bright shining sky.

And then 10 minutes later get a facefull of torrential downpour, sun still gleaming merrily.

Looking up isn't very good at sensing the weather, in my experience. Sometimes not even in the immediate present. There's been days I've been able to stand under the open sky, look up and get no-rain, etc., and reach out to my left and get a fistfull of skywater, with my right side perfectly dry. Dry as it gets in florida humidity, anyway. And looking up and reading the clouds, in regards to near-future weather is... sporadicly accurate, from what I've seen.

Or can feel the moisture and pressure in the air
Maybe that works better in different areas, I'unno. Moisture in Florida is pretty much always "Yes." Pressure is a better indicator, but it's not uncommon to get days worth of high pressure with nary a drop of rain, and shifts can be pretty subtle even without the weather patterns being a troll. And even then, shifts of that sort can mean different things in different places... gotta' hang around a joint for a while to really get a feel for that stuff.

But feeling air pressure is normal right?

To my knowledge you can't really notice the subtle weather ones unless you really know what the pay attention to, or have an injury or phenotype that creates a certain gap in your joints or something.

I can feel moisture.
And by that I mean that if I go anywhere with less moisture than 'tropical rainforest' my throat feels horribly dry and I feel short of breath.
Ha. Yeah, being out in the desert that one time was great. I could actually breath for once in my life. Humidity bends my lungs over its metaphorical knee and violates them with a not so metaphorical spiked bat.

Like, an actual living bat, studded with metal spikes and doped up on a combination of PCP and rage. In my lungs. Writhing.

Hate this state so very much.

Roughly after my grandparents die and I rustle up enough money to flee, yes. Family and fiscal issues are the only things keeping me here. Might wait until all education is complete, but... probably not.

For humidity, what I need is some, but not too much.

Too little and my throat dries out. Too much and I feel like I'm breathing soup and permanently sweaty.

I disproportionately hate 'too much' over 'too little'.

How humid is my bedroom?!

My god!

I set a cup down and less than an hour later it looks like it had ice in it when it didn't!

There is a condition out there called being "Pressure sensitive"

I find that I can smell the extra, cooler moisture in the air when it's going to rain. Even in horrifically humid (98%, woohoo~) conditions.

I can feel the dramatic pressure change right before it rains.
