I linked that to a friend and he was impressed by the level of detail.  But he also pointed out that with all that variable detail with PCs it probably has to chug really darn hard to render a group of players.  Figures it might work in a singleplayer game but he figures that it wreaks havok of FPS to have more than a couple PCs on screen at once.

(Note neither of us have played or even heard of the game in question before this so it might be a small group game or something or do some fancy tricks to work around it.)

I think the weirdest part about playing oblivion for me was forgetting what mods I had on and before walking into a prison and seeing 4 of the 6 guards in the barracks in going at eachother.

I remember in Morrowind, I could ACTUALLY jump on everything. Icarian Flight scrolls[They boost acrobatics by 10000 or something ridiculous] let me travel all the way across the continent. Good ol days...

Although I did have fun with playing with the Atronach power, and casting Absorb Magic on myself, so it went to 100% spell absorption, and just soaking up lightning bolts like it was candy.

Or just use the good ol' soultrap glitch and give yourself 10k acrobatics all the time.

Makes the game borderline unplayable but by the gods you could jump.

... or just be more reasonable and give yourself less than that, so you can jump up mountains but won't get yourself stuck in ceilings.

To climb a hill correctly, one must first jump over it.

Literally, though, the most fun I had in Oblivion by far, was when I said "You know what? I'm going to go out of my comfort zone. I won't play a wizard. I won't cast spells. I won't care about the main quests!"
And then I made an Orc dude that swung an axe, and just went running through the wilderness, not using fast-travel, probably with no pants.

I found so much coll stuff out in the middle of nowhere.

The most fun I had in Oblivion was my orcish thug who went around axing as many NPCs as possible.
Although yeah, acrobatics was fun, too. I remember fleeing city guards as a vampire by jumping over buildings...

Re: Black Desert and its character customization, yeah it looks great. I love character customization.
Who knows if the rest of the game will be any good, though... and I doubt I'll ever play it since I lack a supercomputer.
