Maybe your brain subconsciously found links between two languages? Maybe you are a natural polyglot?

It's not so much a subconscious link between latin and french, but instead that a lot of french and english words come from Latin.  I will start typing, for example, "Tu es", which had the exact spelling and exact meaning in both languages.  I will then switch to French, and only notice a few sentences after that.

Ha ha, lucky. I haven't seen that since 8th grade.

Anyway, a lot of that stuff is the fact that women have a tendency to take lower paying white collar, or even blue collar jobs--there are more male college professors but more female grade school teachers, etc. etc. Not to say that's all of it, though. My father saw a news story once about how a woman earned like half a dude in the same position earned.

There's a bill hovering around Congress about the whole disparity in pay thing, that's probably why CNN ran something about it.

Now, see, that's the sort of comment that gets misinterpreted and starts a flame war. That being said, there are several more-or-less legitimate reasons for the disparity.

That's a character straight from the film. Granted, the backstory was expanded in the EU, but still a film character.

A sudden brainwave on how to cut out a lot of cruft has resulted in an alternate version of my encounter rules that I'm currently exploring the implications of. It's looking a lot like the bastard lovechild of Final Fantasy 6 and Magic: the Gathering, with character creation that makes me suspect the system was raised by an Elder Scrolls game.

I don't know how to feel about this, especially since it's the umpteenth removal of a core assumption I had going into this (meaning I'm revising again, not progressing) and I'm completely stumped on whether the streamlining and expanded design space is worth the loss of simulationism. That's why it's in this thread instead of the Happy thread.
