Huh.
I was about to post a mini rant in that computer help thread over in life advice about the YouTube problems I am having for some time now.
Just as I am finishing up, asking if anyone has a similar problem or if it could be browser thing, it dawns on me - I quickly check YT with Opera (I am using FireFox).

And voila!, the problems are no more.

I run CCleaner that for some reason I didn't do for some time, and voila! for the second time, YT works as it should. 

I...was too quick to judge YouTube on this one.
