I was watching a series and I didn't notice I watched 13 straight hours of a show...

It is RARE I ever lose total track of time... the last time was when I played Legend of Mana or Suikeoden 2 and I ended up playing until the sun was back in the sky (I didn't have a clock in my room back then)

In fact it is the reason why the Suikeoden 2 overworld theme makes me sleepy. (The other thing that does that unnaturally is the Law and Order theme... but that is because it was always watched late at night. so it is the sound I'd always hear when it is very late)

So I woke up to everyone talking about daylight savings.

Because all of my clocks are electronic and hooked up to the internet in some way, I didn't even notice it happened. My sleep wasn't any worse than normal; in fact, I woke up an hour earlier than I usually would, thinking that I got a perfect 10 hours of sleep.

I'd always thought that there was the implication that 00 agent identities were transferred to new agents on death/retirement.

Thus explaining why 007 has not only not aged in all the years he's been in service, he's actually grown younger.

It also explains rather nicely why the Soviets are no longer used as the big bad guys... though seeing as most of MI6's time is spent nowadays working against Islamic fundamentalist groups it doesnt really explain why Bond is not seducing some lonley goat herders wife on a lonley afghani hillside.

So, booted up DF today. I pull open Fort Mode, and start work. I built at the base of a mountain in order to have a good solid surface to build into while maintaining farming ability.

I picked a spot with sand for soil, perfect. I start work on a basement with four massive rooms, each intended to serve a different purpose.

My dwarves get a little thirsty, but that's OK; I set my fish cleaner to pick stuff to brew and eat.

A few minutes later, I have nearly an entire page of immigrants, the most I've ever gotten before boring myself out of my mind and abandoning. This fort was barely functional, and I got the most dwarves in one sitting in my life.

I think he means that it doesn't include Pokemon from Gen III or later.

Someone mentioned a picture in their signature. I didn't know there were pictures in people's signatures, so I looked and found out I had pictures in signatures turned off. I turned them back on, and suddenly signatures that seemed completely dry and boring are interesting... and some which were tasteful have turned schlocky.
