I can confirm that a majority of the school population is made up of idiots. People don't use the toilet stalls out of lessons, because the boys find the existence of basic bodily functions hilarious. And there's a few groups of girls that are usually orange due to not knowing how to apply foundation/fake tan/something that makes you orange. Today, when getting ready for an important test, I'd finished my plan. I then took 25 minutes convincing the two girls next to me to stop taking selfies and texting (because we were allowed our phones for BBC Bitesize). By the end of the lesson, though, I'd managed to get them to write a few paragraphs on their plans.

Truth. Duckface is a necessary propagational/structural component of the 'selfie' infovirus. You might as well ask "why can't lolcat writers spell properly?", or "why must all pizza delivery guys be samurai?". Useful as a koan, if nothing else.
