I'm assuming it's 19% of cases of men going to ER and 20% of case of women going to ER. Assuming that equal numbers of men and women go to the ER, then you average the figures, not add them, so it's about 19.5%, not 39%

Unfortunately, you have to pay for this article! D: but the synopisis says ~2-7% of ER visits are for "acute" DV, but analysis of existing data shows the true prevalence is a lot higher. I'm assuming that's the 19-20% which is quoted. I'm not prepared to pay to read the article.

I have gained more IT knowledge through attempting to track down why my internet occasionally loads things like it's a shitty dial up connection before deciding to work like normal, usually after I stare at it for a while. I don't know why it does this, the router dosen't seem to be an issue and the modem logs aren't screaming timeouts, so... I don't know what's going on, and hell, might not ever.
