How is this somehow fake when this isn't?

I'm not really complaining (lol youtube comments) so much as... boggling.

I don't get it. How does that video look fake? Its actually got really good sync. Faking it would be harder.

EDIT: Just watched the live thing. That was cool. Real guitar is way different than rock band.

I guess because they have experience playing Guitar Hero and not in actual guitar and thus they don't know how much freaking easier Guitar Hero is... mostly.

I mean, there's stuff like this that is far easier to mess up on or kludge on a real guitar without anyone noticing while Rock Band is like "nope you missed that you fail", but for the most part it's far easier to play Guitar Hero.

Guitar Hero's mappings aren't logical at all, though. I've found some songs easier to play on guitar because you can understand where the notes are coming from, and not just sightreading random button presses.

Eh, I consider them pretty much functionally equivalent. Rock Band has better songs and mechanics and features and charting, though, while Guitar Hero has a better guitar controller (their drum controller can break from an 8-year-old).

I guess. I mean not like I wouldn't have to practice in order to play that but as a beginner piano student I'd say that doesn't look very tough at all. But its different from actually playing so eh. :p

I'm really tempted to insert a snarky comment about how we don't need Synth Hero because it wouldn't be any different from playing synth.
