Ohio Woman wins wing-eating contest.

Evidently the challenge came down, as you might expect from knowing the structure of chicken wings, to her superior oral dexterity.

I was momentarily confused, as I have the XKCD Chrome extension that transforms all instances of "election" to "eating contest".

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Morbid curiosity brought me to the comment section of that:

"They probably made the wings smaller."

I won't say that every time a woman beats a man at something it gets dismissed or rationalized away, but it sure as hell seems to happen a lot.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Sure, there'll always be someone dismissing it (looking at you, misogynists). Doesn't mean everyone, or even the majority, will.

That's what I meant. Literally every time a man loses to a woman, there is always someone saying that there was some imbalance in the woman's favor.

Okay, but considering there's absolutely nothing in the world that will change the minds of (most of) the bigots, can't we ignore their uninformed opinions and focus on the lady's accomplishment instead?

Yes.
Believe me, eating contests are torture. She did something of mind-shattering proportions.
~30 kg of chicken wings without throwing up. Damn.

For some reason, and I suspect installing adblock might have something to do with this, Firefox has decided that it wants to stay on top, as in, even when you switch focus to another window, you won't see it because FF stays on top of it. The only exception to this so far is foobar which has the always on top turned on.

I have no idea how to fix this :I

Edit: And now it's fixed, I simply removed a non-working plugin, which didn't cause trouble before today :S

Keeping broken plugins active tends to cause problems, yes.

That's the thing, it broke or something a few days ago and FF disabled it. And it started to make trouble only today :S

Question: Aren't the early(at least) Touhou games free? Trying to download Perfect Cherry Blossom, a Google search gives me several links to pirate sites, plus showing at least one result removed due to DMCA complaint.

Every time a woman loses to a man, there's going to be someone trying to rationalise it away.
This happens no matter who loses. If a man loses to a woman, it's because the deck is stacked. If a woman loses to a man, it's because the competition isn't set up to allow women to compete using their strengths. If your favorite football team loses to my favorite football team, it's because the refs screwed them. People have no idea what "competing gracefully" means, which makes it worse when all the comments come from spectators who couldn't compete anyway due to lack of physical tools/skills/whatever.
