My earliest computer games were flash games and such, but I'm fairly sure I had a console before that. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team for the DS and a collection of old sonic games on a single disk for the PS2.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

I'm having a hell of a lot of trouble remembering what my first PC game was... I think it was either some apogee styled platformer, maybe crystal caves. Barring that it was maybe the PC port of the simpsons arcade game.

My first computer game would have been either Space Raiders or Bomber on the ZX81, age ~3.  I can still sorta remember the cassette inlay/cover for them.

Oddly, I can remember my first game for each platform I owned except for PC (treating PC as distinct from Spectrum, Amiga, etc).

Oh, shit, I was so wrong about my first game. Now I remember! Before my family bought the first computer, I had a NES replica (Pegasus. Good times), making my very first game none else but Contra!

First ever game? Well, back on the old ZX Spectrum, it would be Chuckie Egg, Ant Attack, Jumping Jack or Manic Miner. Truly a golden age of playability over graphics.

Science only goes too far when there's nothing left to appreciate it.

Science may not have gone too far, but something definitely has.

My first game that I played by myself? E.T. on the Atari 2600. It was quite a while before I learned that the game was horrible at being a game, it wasn't just me being horrible at it.

I really gotta stop forgetting what I did the previous day. Least this is better than the tendrils of darkness I left lying around the last time.

On a slightly related note, the RNG in my brain seems to be broken. Choosing a random planet for debugging purposes apparently tells my brain to pick the same thing 3 times in a row.

Or maybe it's working better than usual. The same thing three times in a row is not what we typically consider random, but humans are horrible with randomness.

Perhaps that planet just needs more debugging.
