I just realized that I'd be happy to live in geared-to-income housing, relying on my disability checks, and volunteering at the local library as a life. It's kind of perturbing to realize my parameters for happiness are so... low.

Sometimes I wish I could get disability checks. Problem is, I can't afford the doctor's visits to get the necessary documents from the doctor that say I should get the checks.

That's... pretty WTF-worthy in and of itself. Just one more reason to be glad I live in Canada, I guess. .-.

Question : If being a low - maintenance person prevents you from being ambitious, is that bad?

Actually, that's good, as ambitious gives you  -50 relationship modifier with your liege which isn't very great on the long term.

Not sure why is it considered bad to have low ambitions. Not everyone wants to be super rich or famous or successful. If you're perfectly happy with your little corner of the Earth and what you're doing with your life is it really that terrible to not want more?

I don't really think so. Only if the entire population were that way would we have problems as a species, and if the entire population swung to the opposite extreme we'd have problems of similar magnitude, I think. So, in this regard, just be you and be okay with that.

Re Bauglir + Jopax : Thank you for your inputs. I'm just a bit morally concerned with myself. I don't work very hard in uni, probably because I'm happy with the consequences (i.e. a lesser job). When I'm actually in work though (i.e. the last few holidays) I try and put a lot of effort in because other people rely on me.

If you ever want to see your subscriptions again, fill out a Google+ profile with your real personal information and add all your favorite things to your circles.

Click your username up in the top right corner. It'll open up a tab with various things, including (under the "Youtube" heading) a link to your subs.

Also, the link http://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions goes directly to the feed for recent uploads by subbed channels, with links to all of the subbed channels on the left-hand side. At least it does for me. It's actually pretty good, as far as YT layouts go. Of course, we're talking about YT layouts, so...

No, I'm talking about that page. It only loads like, 25 of them. And then just... blank. No "Load more", no auto-load like it used to. It acts like these are the only videos my subs have ever uploaded.

Sitting in my Job Service Provider's office today (nice escape from the heat), I look at the silly posters on the wall describing various career types, what jobs are involved and what qualifications are usually required.
I see a level one job titled 'Funeral Attendant', and I had a bit of an inward chuckle imaging someone whose entire job was being hired as an extra mourner, to bulk out the attendance at an unpopular person's funeral.

Of course, after a second I realised what it actually meant, but it was amusing while it lasted.

...What? Sorry, but you really aren't making much sense. I assume this is because of the two different bits of direction? Vagueness doesn't help. "Where r subs" != "Where is the full list of one of my subbed channel's uploads?"

If it's instead about the fact that you need to click the "load more" button at the bottom of the videos page to... load more, then there's that.

No, it's about the fact that there is no load more button on my subscriptions panel.

MEANING that if I miss more than 25 videos I can't watch them.

Since I have like 100+ subscriptions, THIS IS ANNOYING.
