Christmas music... the invasion has already begun!

The local home depot has already succumbed... and one of my favoured radio station is now considering joining the axis of evil.  It is only a matter of time before all of my music radio stations join the axis.    There is no stopping this abomination.

tl;dr I will be a very unhappy driver for the rest of this month.  I guess I could stick to the NPR radio station...

I don't think I've heard Christmas music when driving to work. When driving home from work, I stream music from my phone.

A skirt and a kilt are both single-tube, open-top open-bottom pieces of fabric that hand from the waist.

A kilt is a specific type of skirt that is pleated at the back, and is made of 4-9 yards of tartan material. As well as having specific cuts and sewing patterns.

Like I said, a kilt is a subset of skirts, but you can't call every skirt a man wears a kilt, any more than you can call any pants you might wear "Jeans", unless they ARE jeans.

That's just abstraction. There's a common interface, but the implementation differs.

The word that the fellow was looking for earlier was "trews". Such an item of clothing can be worn in clan tartan, though it is chiefly a Lowland thing. My grandfather owns a pair because he does not have the legs for a kilt.

Yes, my plans have all been working beautifully. Soon the entire world will be assimilated into the Scottish master race.

Traditional kilts are 100% superior, however. They allow one to hide a plethora of weapons. Highlanders would often carry a sword, a little dagger called a sgian dubh and a big dirk as well called a biodag. They'd probably have a pistol on them somewhere if they could afford it. Depending on how it was tied, you could also sleep in the kilt (use it as a blanket) or wear it like a poncho and keep yourself dry.
