...There is a tradition called Anxiety Scream (Ångestskriket) that takes place in the area every Tuesday at 10pm, where residents open their windows and scream for several minutes. It is not known when the tradition started, but it is generally believed that it began as a reaction to the stress caused by university exams.

I made the mistake of looking at the comments. But yeah, a desert means that it doesn't rain often, but when it rains, everything is flooded.

As a fun fact, in some deserts, more people have died from drowning than thirst. (Because of the fact that inexperienced people often mistake dry riverbeds for a good place to pitch their tents.)
