Sudden snowstorm. I leave my home Tuesday morning, and it's raining. By the time the bus gets me to work, it's a goddamn blizzard. There was still white on the ground the next day when I left work.

It has to do with how the molecules bind together when crystallizing.

I had the opportunity to ride passenger in an adorably small roadster. The driver of the vehicle was then called by an acquaintance and told to pick up some (16) pizzas ordered by said acquaintance. We could only fit about seven in the trunk, so I wound up carrying nine on my lap. The small size of the car meant that the pizzas were literally stacked to the ceiling, so I couldn't see out. The bottom pizzas probably got turned to coal by the heat and pressure of the ones above.
