Today I got a point marked off a quiz for failing to indicate that joules are equivalent to (deep breath) kilograms times meters squared divided by seconds squared for purposes of unit cancellation. This was about electrons and tiny particles, which obviously gets lumped into "chemistry" because evidently "physics" has been stuck in time since the late 1800s according to the school system. Whatever. What irritates me is that in my physics course unit equivalences are taken for granted, but apparently in chemistry you have to OCD-ishly indicate them to get credit.

Odd that you can't just use electronvolts for that.

My German is only so/so, and wasn't entirely sure what the service manual was saying. So I plugged into google translate.

Quote from: OEM Audi Service Manual, English translation of the German Edition
First, loosen the 17 Mm Allen fill plug. Take a break and loose plug expansion difficult. You need to drain the coverage problem not shown in advance. Do not delete it.

Yet the transmission fluid pump car will start again. Fill the holes and then insert the hose towards the front of the vehicle. 2.5 3 Must take the L hand overflow fill plug firmly in advance.

This. is. not. helping.

It's in German. No doubt it's a porn-maker's service manual.

You have a dirty, dirty mind.

And a good point.

I was going to go nerd-speak and just answer with 'Flushing a tip tranny' but that... wouldn't really enlighten anyone.

Flushing the transmission in my friend's car, for free. It's stress relief (of which I could use lots right now). But for some weird reason this system is completely different than the other 15 or so I've worked on. It's like...

*slams face into desk*

It's been replaced. Not the same year as the car. This is a totally newer-model Tiptronic. Ugggggggggggggg.

Back to work.

I just found out that lobsters are biologically immortal.
That is actually a cruel trade-off. You live forever, but you taste delicious and everyone wants to eat you.

Maybe his immortality can be toggled off and on using dressing...

The more important question is if Xantalos is a lobster.

I seem to have found a strange interest in Plague Doctors and the Black Death in general after a night of looking that shit up.

Is that odd seeing as beforehand, I had no interest?
