I was using my computer, and made the internet fullscreen for a while. When I closed it, a couple of my folders had dissapeared. One was an Aliens roguelike, and the other I don't remember. I just know there's an empty space in my pattern. Nothing on the recycle bin. This is scaring me.

Worst case you have to get some holy water.

I didn't notice this when I was charging my mp3 this morning, but most of SoundSense for Dwarf Fortress had synced itself in.

It's pretty jarring, going from a Modest Mouse song to the sounds of a man being ripped limb from limb.

Even worse, sometimes several sound effects would play in a row, painting a mini story about Dwarf Fortress.

The longest one started with an exclamation that a dwarf had gone berserk, then some tantrum yelling, combat crashes and bones breaking, vomiting and retching, then a death scream, an exclamation that a mandate has ended, and maniacal laughter.

I don't think I will ever escape this game.

I was listening to my local alternative station during the weekend when The 1975’s Chocolate came on.  The song had odd breaks in it and it took me a minute to realize they were censoring the word “guns” from the song.

Driving today I heard Steppenwolf’s Born to Be Wild playing on the local classic rock station uncensored.   WTF local alternative station?
