I've seen some pretty damn flexible cats. And I tried it your way, and it worked for a while, but eventually the butter wore off and the cat won.

Sorry, that wasn't aimed at you. I just get... people taking advantage of ignorance is one of the most Evil things out there. It's the fundamental duty of humanity to lift each other up; when we see someone lacking for something, be it food or shelter or dignity or a voice or truth, it's the duty of us as their fellow humans to help them overcome their lack, whatever it is. So, when people instead prey on and take advantage of other people's ignorance or disadvantages, and wrap it in the trappings of some beautiful, attractive idea like Free Energy... it's a devious, cruel, and self-serving betrayal of humanity and decency itself.

This stuff pisses me off in ways that few things do. And right now, I'm kind of surrounded by hardcore Free Energy types at home, and keeping my peace without exploding is kind of exhausting... so that doesn't help. God, I wish I had the money to spare, so I could donate and get into that comments section, and let them know what they were doing.

All you'd do is get people upset with you. People don't like being disabused of their ignorance.

I used to live in a place that was a major center for Woo, and let me make this clear - robbing these sorts of people blind will make them giddy with happiness. Trying to share information with them will make them angry and resentful at YOU, and see you as an enemy while making their life worse.

Who are you to look down on those giving these people exactly what they want? (That being - a pleasant fantasy they can spend their money on to believe they are actually accomplishing something of value, without requiring them to actually have to deal with the crushing pressure of reality that so often accompanies accomplishing something of ACTUAL value)

Oh god I'm adopting the mindset of a wolf among the sheep aren't I - a wolf among sheep that are just begging to be eaten... why... it would be immoral not to take advantage of them when you think about it, and I could make so much money to do beneficial things for people who matter... like myself...
