I have a staph infection on my thigh that happens to be about the size of a lemon. That was both surprising and horrifying to find such a thing in the shower. Might explain why I've been sick the past couple weeks though.

See a doctor, fucking immediately. Staph infections can be lethal if they spread enough, and if it is the size of a lemon you are in trouble, especially if it is MRSA.

And how the hell did you go weeks without looking at your thigh?

Like right now. Log off Bay12 and go see a doctor right the fuck now seriously you could die.

Alright first of all I think I said the wrong thing. After doing an image search for actual staph infections it is safe to say that I do not have a staph infection. It is safe to say I had a boil on my thigh the size of a lemon, which before making yesterday's post I lanced with a sterile needle, drained, and cleaned liberally with antibacterial soap and hot water. I did not know at the time it was a boil but now I know that it was.

Since yesterday the swelling has stopped and it is no longer hot or the size of a lemon. I get these boils on my thigh and stomach about once or twice a year. Like the eczema on my right hand and both the blood blisters and water blisters I get on my right foot it's just a reoccurring thing for me that I know how to treat without having to seek medical attention.

A bunch of great games sooooo. Yeah. HOW DID I FORGET I HAD THAT CASE(as in plastic container thing, not a DVD case) ON MY DESK.

Played Tomb Raider, played Duke Nukem, haven't really played any star trek games.

So a few weeks ago I used a big staple gun and a big thick towel to near-completely cover up the only window in my room. It blocks 99.9% of light, for all intents and purposes.

Cause I work at night and have to sleep in the day, this is the largest improvement to my sleeping ability that has ever happened. I feel a toll on my sanity has been taken though, since now when you're in my room, it's virtually impossible to tell whether it is night or day.

It just bothers me that when I'm sitting here at my computer, and I see the clock says "2:50", I have to consciously tell myself "That's AM Josh, no matter how awake you feel, that's AM and not PM".

...Hmmm. Blocking light sources in my room sounds like it could be a good idea, now that I think of it. I often sleep during the day, although I don't have a decent reason for it.
