No no no, haven't you watched House? You have to constantly pepper your unlikable characters with undue justifications.

Or Glee where the show just lacks the self-awareness to even know how terrible of a person their character is (Rachel)

Another weirdness I am on a forum on another site. They posted videos about a game and listed features.

I mentioned a few features and they outright accused me of making things up and spreading rumors and said that I need to link my sources.

I honestly wish I could project a "really?" look over the internet because these "features" were in the linked videos!

I went out to buy some groceries, and as I walk out a whole Biker gang drives by, a ton of them, at least 50 or so, some balancing on their back-wheels, having totally taken over a stretch of road. In the middle of NYC mind. Just right down Second Avenue.


I, I don't even have words for how weird and awesome that is. I mean, I can't see them exactly waiting for traffic, and they didn't have to, but that's what you do in NYC. It's like someone teleported them in. In front of them were cars, behind them were cars, and yet here was a ton of bikers like this was a road in the middle of nowhere.

So I log onto my computer today and then have to log onto another one of my work computers to get some documents. So I'm logging on through remote management and everything loads up fine and instead of the windows ping I'm greated by the sounds of a woman having sex.....

I think I died for a few moments, what makes this worse is that the first computer I was on had the volume on maximum and my bosses boss was just down the hallway..... And I work in a school.

No idea what the fuck was going on I had only just started my main computer up so no one had messed with it and there was no Internet browsers open of anything just email.

1) thank fuck it's the summer holiday

2) no sound will ever come out of my main work computer ever again I have made sure of that.

And this is why step 1 of using a computer not my own (and often my own, as well) for Frumple is muting the sound.

I do it even when the system in question, like, doesn't have speakers. Sound does no good, ever, on computers outside the one firmly ensconced in one's own domicile. Sometimes not even then. Mute all the things!

As for what happened. Sounds like someone changed the starting sound. You can do that! Fun can be had. Though yeah, it'd kick up before you could mute the thing, which. Ha ha. Sticking headphones into the system, just in case, can work, too.

I didn't think Ubisoft would make a not-terrible game with M&M, besides Heroes 6 which was little more than decent. But this looks like a HD M&M4 mixed with 6 and looks amazing.

I am both WTFing over this actually being a thing, WTFing about it being made by ubisoft and not being horrid, and nerdgasming over the return of a franchise that I love in a manner that actually looks to be /trying/ to stay true to the old games. I'm going to go look up a LP to see if I'm right about this...

It's not it's real-gasp- oh em gee
It's still buggy because Beta, and they cut out the RT combat (sads), but otherwise it looks quite faithful to the older games, right down to the interiors of buildings being pretty much 3d Gifs.

This could be a rebirth. Ubisoft, you're our only hope... we're screwed aren't we?

I was wondering that a couple weeks ago, since the theme appears to be like, broken or something. (That, or it and a few other themes on that list are meant to be all text.)
