Here's a video for anyone who recently played a Mass Effect game.

Fuck Udina. Good thing I got him and that bitch Ashley dead in three.

I'm a terrible person for shooting the latter, but I cheated on her with Tali then on her with Liara and it became a clusterfuck... better to off them before they found out :P

Sorry, I can't even imagine someone calling anyone a bitch without thinking about this.

Since I post that, I have to post the reviews Egoraptor may have been making fun of.

"He likes a different team, SCREW HIS GOOD POLICIES AND SOUND STRATEGEY OF GOVERNMENT."

Suddenly, I understand the Electoral college...
Well, I also don't like his policies, I prefer Thompson. Blasios too extreme for my tastes.

And the Electoral College was a direct effort to marginalize the larger population by the Founding Fathers as part of their program to wed Aristocracy to Democracy, and never let anyone tell you different. The Founding Fathers were not the Avid reformists 200 years of nationalism has told you. Their entire Modus Operandi was ensuring no one could take over by making various interest groups squabble over power. They succeeded.

Oh, and it's not just a different team, he's on the other side of the oldest, bitterest rivalry in Baseball. It goes back more then a hundred years, with curses (real ones!) and rage to boot. We could literally go to war over it. It may just be well-known in the northeast, but man it still surprises me you haven't heard of it.

Of course, it's also a rivalry with plenty of locals supporting the other side. In many ways they are both the "local team", it's just that the Red Sox represent everything that is good about the region and the Yankees everything that is terrible. ;)

The Founding Fathers were also far from monolithic in exactly what they wanted to achieve.

Mitt Romney himself said that the country is united in hating the Yankees, as Rudy Giuliani could attest to during his brief presidential run (apparently switching sides himself).

Amusingly though, a Business Insider Poll say that New York has the Best Sports fans, and the Worst. (We also are unsurprisingly thought to be the most rude, and slightly more surprisingly the most arrogant. I would have though California would win that. We also have the best food. Honorable mention for craziest, favorite all-around, smartest, and over-rated.) Poll

And yes, Founding fathers were pretty open-ended, but it's notable there were some who'd prefer a far more Royalist view of things then what is thought. With all those people who regard them as like, the Gods of America (looking for quotes from the fathers is so, so painful.), it is pretty interesting stuff to learn about.

A guy seems to be hellbent on necro-raising old forum games thread who died last winter. I count four on which I posted as of today.

One of the managers at the apartment complex I live in likes to call me "buddy". I'm kind of confused.

What about? That's one of many ways to address someone in a casual manner without being overtly rude. Sort of between "Mr. ____" and "Hey, asshole".

That's actually what I was confused about. Then again I'm used to being called "Mr. ______" when it comes to professional matters, my name when it comes to people who do know me, and "Mister" when it comes to everyone that doesn't know me.
