It turns out that only the ring finger on my left hand can open bottles of soda. I'm starting to develop a callous there.

Plastic or glass? The latter sounds painful.

*Sigh*

I still love "Friday"

Don't get me wrong, I know it is terrible with a catchy beat. Yet honestly...

It is the GREATEST unintentional pop parody EVER!

I DARE people to find better.

But it is the Sims with fantasy and goals and a whole kingdom! It is like a fairy swooped down and said "You like Mysims right? Well lets combine them!"

It is terrible. It's buggy, quest based, you have to unlock most of the fun stuff, and when you max your profession level, the game crashes. If you manage to complete a scenario before hitting level 10, by switching characters or sandbagging or whatever, you can expect to build up from square one in the next scenario. Nothing gets kept except the storyline, which is exceedingly lacking. I love The Sims. I hated The Sims Medieval.

That said, The Sims Castaway was a lot of fun, if very short.

Automatically cynical about almost everything. Unexpectedly enjoys mediocre-at-best rubbish. I think I've figured it out: Neonivek, are you from Bizarro-Earth? If so, what is it like in the Bizarro-US? I imagine the balanced budget, honest politicians, single-payer healthcare system, and record sixty years of peace must be pretty different from what you hear about our side.

The Sims is basically my mortal weakness.

Either that or I am not Neonivek, I am some guy from Bizaro earth.

By the by Bizarro-US is fine but the incredibly low taxes and smooth traffic gets to you after a while.

Previous level: Rolling over a dark god like it's a chump.

This level: Getting shitkicked by frog people.

If there's one thing that can be said of Aedis Eclipse, it's that the game's balance is completely and utterly borked right to hell. Not entirely unenjoyable, but it was as silly to have received a character capable of literally one-turning like half the first campaign's (good 20+) maps within the first three maps as it is to run into frog dudes capable of bending the big bad over their knee.

This is a thing now.

I want to watch this, if only to see how it handles the plot twist where the Main Character pulls Marty Mcfly and the time traveling delorean out of her wallet, which then grow to full size so they can make the most random and out of place cameo I've ever read before.

But on the other hand I don't want to watch it cause I remember the severe brain damage reading through the original work inflicted on me. Like, seriously, I was reduced to about a fourth grade reading level for about a week after finishing it.

I lasted two minutes.  I want to watch the rest of it, but I'm not strong enough.

It is almost genius in the sense that it feels like how Enoby WOULD have been handled had she actually existed... Sort of.
