so i'm the only one here who actually prefers casual drinking because it makes social interaction less of a chore when you can speak freely with the only worry being making the person i'm speaking with so drunk they wouldn't remember the night afterwards? i clearly remember being able to slip dozens of things to people that i wouldn't otherwise knowing i can do it and nothing would happen, and this is even before the whole "being a wizard" part came along

i might or might not be a horrible drinking partner and in slight envy of your socialization capabilities at the moment

As far as being unmanly goes...It was probably pretty unmanly. Some sort of blackberry margarita thingy. I happen to like fruity beverages.

I have to agree with this. I am a terribly boring person to talk to whilst sober, at least until I know someone well.
