Well ok we aren't stupid in this case. The article clearly states that they don't know if this will work OR if it will cause a larger disaster.

This is just one of those cases where someone out there has enough money to go "Yeah I know it can mean bad news for everyone if we fail, but come on... Money!"

Killer bees were manageable. Just some nitwit ended up releasing the queens.

Cane toads have done a LOT of damage to Australia's ecosystem and has spread like wildfire.

They're fun to use as golf balls though.

A member of my family constantly plays Toon Town, and has several accounts open on it at any given moment. The tattoo of sound effects are horrendous.

She also seems to think that I'd be interested in playing because I like games or something. Yeah... not in this life time.

I...actually played ToonTown for a period after I got a free month because another Disney game I played died. It actually was a pretty decent game, especially once you got to the higher levels of the game where there was a bit more strategy and co-op required. I probably wouldn't pay $10 a month for the thing, but it wasn't terrible, either.

So there's an event that's been going on called the Magic World Championship. There's a guy in it, Shahar Shenhar, who's 19 years old and, before yesterday, had won $40k+ in prize money, which itself made me feel kinda crappy since the dude is less than a year older than me. And then he had to top it off by going from an 0-2 start to winning the final match 3-2 in an unfavorable matchup.
