The electrons exist as a probability cloud. Uncertainty and things like that. But saying that they orbit around the nucleus isn't really correct.
And this is not the sort of person who bats an eyelid at being incorrect in order to sound more poetic.

It's hardly anymore noisy than the people who decide to walk outside and scream at each other in 2:00 in the morning. Which is to say anybody who lives at this apartment complex. It scared me more than anything else, due to the fact that in my sleepy haze i thought i was hearing gunshots (which wouldn't be incredibly surprising, here.)

Same, and letters were recently sent to people saying that, no It's not legal stop doing it asshats. Not in that language but i would respect the owners more if they did say exactly that.

I live in a college town. The 4th of July at night time alternates between sounding like my house is surrounded by a gigantic party, or sounding like my neighborhood is being shelled by mortars.

Our fireworks have stopped. Don't know exactly when they did since i fell asleep again, but it couldn't have been more than 2 hours ago.

Other than fireworks when it's illegal people have apparently been breaking into the pool area (they said 3 times the lock has been broken) and stealing pool lights. Pool lights. Why would you do that. Also rap all damn night long with the bass volume as high up as possible.

But that... doesn't make sense. Most of Bruce's hey-let's-go-extralegal thing was because of the initial trauma, not, like, brooding over time or whatever, iirc. Bruce not being adopted (by a gay couple or otherwise) just means he had slightly less of a support network and/or reoccurring/one-shot villains.

That argument either underestimates Bat's neurosis or overestimates the psychological healing power of homosexual couples.
