Chef Boyardee spaghetti mixed with ramen is... not nearly as terrible as I was expecting it to be. Huh.
That sounds delicious in the cheapest way possible.

But dude. What even. Iceland, what are you even doing?

EDIT: And hentai is only seventh most common in Japan. Compared to second in New Zealand. This is not that way round things should be.

Relevant comic, since Grak didn't mention it.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

The comic isn't as WTF-worthy as the actual lists.
Seriously, Oklahoma's 9th was "Straight (gay)".

For me it's the daddy(gay) and beast. On a note unrelated to Iceland Ukraine likes Kim Kardashian.

I find it hilarious how for Japan 7/10 of their results were just different iterations of saying Japanese.

Well, upon discovering that I'll be taking out $5500/year in federal student loans, instead of the $2500 that I had thought, I decided to look through some scholarships. A small selection...

Quote
The Bruce Lee Foundation Scholarship ($1000) is available to students over the age of 16 who demonstrate Bruce Lee's passion for education...Selection is also based on, but not limited to, involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, work experience and knowledge of Bruce Lee.

Quote
The New Look Laser Tattoo Removal Scholarship ($1000) is available to students enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited college or university. On a website, blog, or online forum; you must write a 200 - to 400 - word post that expresses your opinion of the societal impact of laser tattoo removal. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

Quote
The Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest ($10k-  :'( ) is open to 12th grade, undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible for this contest, you must write an essay of no fewer than 800 and no more than 1,600 words in length, double-spaced, on one of three topics related to Ayn Rand's novel, "Atlas Shrugged." Essays are judged on both style and content. The winning essay must demonstrate an outstanding knowledge of the book "Atlas Shrugged." All information necessary to enter the contest including essay topics is available on the sponsor's site.

I think I'm going to crank out a tattoo removal app tonight for the lulz. For a 300-word essay, I'll very easily find all the information I need on Wikipedia. It looks like they won't give out cash for my area of study. I'm good enough at bullshitting that I could probably have a shot at the Atlas Shrugged contest, but I don't think I'd be able to live with myself if I won it.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I'm amused by any region that has a particular name in their top 10. Apparently this "lisa ann" is pretty popular in Alaska.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
