It's rather telling when people from all sides of the political spectrum come out against a single thing. It's also comforting that everyone is universally having such strong opinions about it.

Actually that would not be strange. The summer before last I chased his pigs out of our front flower garden, that was strange. I'm having a fire out back with my friend Dan from suburbia when my dogs take off towards the front. They start barking so I come up to see. As I turn the corner I find 4 pigs rooting about in the garden. Dan follows a bit behind and is just "What the hell?!" as I'm herding the pigs next door.

 He doesn't have the pasture space set up for a cow but he could just be planning a barbecue. Or he might be disposing of a sick cow for a friend. He's done that a couple times before.

Also, in order to have a milk business you need lots of equipment and health inspections. Unless you have a dozen or more cows you're not going to break even any time soon.
