Had a double shift today, so I was back and forth between work twice. Between the two trips I saw a total of four accidents within a three block stretch of road.

There's accidents all the freaking time on the road i live on. All day and night you hear firetrucks and police cars. Granted it is a very busy road but still it's usually because somebody did something incredibly stupid, like try to run a red light when a semi truck is coming.

BBC, while this is entertaining this is not exactly what I would call deeply informative.  Now I dont know enough about Nixon to get upset like I did with the Roman Empire one, but I dont feel smarter.  This is superficial.  Im noticing a small trend towards sensationalism and away from a more traditional or in depth analysis.

Nixon, was in fact a backstabbing bastard who used gangland style tactics and his own band of burglars to get dirt on his political opponents. It's not sensationalism.

He's actually the politician who coined the "my opponent may look like a normal person, but he is in fact a dirty communist!" trick, thus kicking off the McCarthy era.
