He's got a good side to him, and it feels weird saying that even though it's true. He does a lot of stuff to keep his public image up as a party hard guy, but that isn't too strong when it is just us sitting in the dorm at night. I get the impression that he's almost got a knee-jerk shame towards things that don't keep up the image. He thinks his band would mock him if they knew he was doing renditions of video game music, and said "I guess it doesn't make me too much of a loser since I didn't spend all that much time on it". He said it light-heartedly, but it makes me wonder.

At this point things have gone from Initial Dislike (September) -> HATE (The Incident) -> Hate (August-November) -> Hate (Cuban Alarm Clock Crisis) -> Apathy (December-January) -> Simultaneous Hate/Like (Febuary-March) -> Friendly? (April)

Things like this make me wonder what standard day to day society is actually like for the general participants. Being somewhat (ahem) leery of much of it, i don't keep as much of a tab as i should, but really? I thought Jocks were a dying breed. Everyone (young) is what used to be a nerd.

Truth be told, the real jocks are dudebros. Most everyone is just kind of an asshole.
Not exactly shove you in a locker and steal your lunch money bullies anymore, more just people being rude a lot. Seriously, bullies now-a-days (atleast in my experience) main tactics are intimidation (The threat, nothing actually physical besides puffing out their chests), and being super blunt.

I noticed that 'first class students'(=the group of deviants who traditionally bully) haven't been around in the couple high schools I've been. They mostly keep to themselves and smoke a bit. O_o
Maybe they're just more secretive about their act.
