Thanks for warning me. For the sake of everyone on the internet I will stay away from that site :P

Fundies say the darndest things.

Basically, a website devoted to finding the most fundamentalist and moronic things on the internet.

Extended browsing may cause high blood pressure, cardiac arrest, aneurysms, myocardial infarctions, brain liquidation, and more aggressive posts for the proceeding half hour.

I find it hilarious

Here you go.
Good joke.

Smart ass.

Man, I didn't know what it was either, but it took me three clicks to find out. That's like way less effort than typing out a post asking someone about it and waiting for a response.

I'm not a smart ass, I just want to promote efficiency in internet information gathering. It is for everyone's benefit.

I meant smart ass in the most affectionate way possible.

That is one incredibly intelligent posterior.

-snip-

Clearly you are posessed by a demon/demons and must fight them for control of your mind by way of squat thrusts.
Oh, and drink lots of pomelo juice. Wait, what the fuck is a pomelo-- Yep. Lots of pomelo juice. And squat thrusts. *sagenod*

Hmm... most people's intrusive thoughts take the form of violent actions.  Mine tend to take the form of violent words.  Instead of randomly stabbing people or whatever, I usually have thoughts about things I could say to people that would crush their souls.

Yeah.  Everybody has them.  They're no big deal, unless for some reason you're incapable of ignoring them or differentiating between them and reasonable thoughts.

Actually, intrusive thoughts are usually divided into three categories: violent, sexual, and blasphemous.

It is somewhat a matter of opinion, though. For example, that setup includes the suicidal thoughts in violence, but they could be considered their own category. I've never had any suicidal intrusive thoughts, but plenty of ones about sudden violence.

These days I save my violent thoughts for my dreams, mostly.
By the end of my dream last night I was marching along in some weird future setting with a couple of members of my RL family, machinegunning people to death with M16s. I don't remember why... I assume they deserved it? :-\

Anyway it got kinda annoying because whenever I asked for a fresh clip (yeah, like I was gonna lug all the ammo around) my mother would get pissed at me if I didn't ask politely. So we'd be there arguing in the middle of some warzone with people shooting at us. What.

Clearly a sign of repressed homosexual desires. I'm an expert psychologist, I know what I'm talking about. [/isnotapsychologist][/doesnotknowwhatheistalkingabout]

Luckily the only thing approaching intrusive thoughts I get is the urge to jump off things and hurt myself that way. And I don't know if that's even appropriate, since the urge for those is pretty obvious and understood (escaaape. Escaaaape) I think having them involve violence to other people would actually leave me ill. Just thinking about it turns my stomache.

Those are intrusive thoughts, GlyphGryph. There's even a term for it in French: L'appel du vide (The call of the void).
