Nope. If I was doing something like that, then it would be understandable and not a WTF at all.
To make it even more confusing, its not like my recent history *isn't* updating, its just updating starting from position #9, somehow deciding that the websites I visited a week ago permanently belong in position 1-8, while this page goes into #9.

You know, increasingly I'm finding TVtropes interests me less because of the tropes it has, how they've used, and what works they were used in, and more because of the interesting places it links me to.
Take for example this site, it's about old jews, telling jokes. Go figure. I've listened to one or two, they don't actually seem all that good, but maybe it's a cultural thing.

Or for example I was introduced to this gallery of Art Frahm, he was a painter active around the 40's 50's and 60's who specialised in campy pinups. He apparently really had a thing for women who's panties had fallen down... Usually while holding a bag of groceries... Seriously, groceries and panties falling down. A quick google search tells me he did a lot more than is in the gallery too...
