I'm now somewhat curious how many people in western countries are named Jihad. Besides that kid, apparently. It. Doesn't strike me as the most common of names.

As far as I know, it isn't a common name in non-western nations either. It's like a Christian naming their child Salvation.

Well the one of the Holocaust in WW2 was a backlash against the extreme amount of things given to Israel after the war along with the previous hatred gardered before the war.

Which makes it easier to understand. When all of a sudden someone COMPLETELY UNRELATED suddenly is treated like they are better then you, you tend to wonder why.

I don't know, I think it somehow makes it worse because people will look at it and believe you are teaching your three year old those tasteless hings.

If you put a "No fat chicks" on a baby, I think people would actually think it was less funny... and maybe more funny.

It's about crimes against humanity as defined by Nuremberg. Though it concerns only "the" holocaust, the armenian one is not (yet) included.
