Also worth noting that those crowns on his head? They're more heads.

The legend is that Avalokitesvara was contemplating the suffering of the myriads, and as a result his head broke into 11 pieces. Buddha turned each piece into its own head, so that he could monitor those in need of help across the 10 planes of existence. Now that he could see every living thing's suffering, he stretched out his arms to help them all, but they shattered. Buddha then gave him one thousand arms so that he could assist the suffering across all of existence.

I can't help but feel that he should be the patron god boddhisattva of multitasking.
