Department of Social Services. Had an appointment yesterday. Spent about half an hour on line, another half-hour waiting to be called. When I finally get called, the whole thing takes about 1 minute, from in the door, to the fingerprinting, to out the door.

God damn, is it a great achievement to have a speed record for time taken at the Department of Social Services?

I had a dream last night where I was with this group of people in a museum or something, and there was a boat ride through a jungle river, and then we were chased by some ginormous snake that was like 100 feet long and 6 feet across and was trying to smash in the windows on the boat.

Then we were running around the more museum-y part and being chased by a coyote/wolf thing, and I killed it with an ornate silver butter knife that had belonged to Teddy Roosevelt.

My dreams lately seem to include certain things I did today. I remember a dream that had at least one MSPA element, but in the baby part of a hospital. They were actually clothed as if they were going to a spa, but anyway. Then one of them escaped and we chased over driving cars on a mountainy highway.
