I'd honestly attempt it JUST to make a point... but I'd probably get kicked out of the chat for the attempt.

As well I don't want to outright annoy people. I do intentionally annoy people when I think there is a point in being annoying, but never for the sake of being annoying just to make a point. (Yes there is a difference! Even if I said the same thing in two different ways.)

The point is that the previous person has pretty much said everything that you were going to say, but you want to show your support anyway. Thus, you simply quote the other person's post, as they have done all the hard work. Some people will add a "+1" or "This" just to reinforce the quoted person's point.

It has been so cold for so long here that large bodies of water are starting to ice over now. The local ducks are unhappy, to say the least.
