So, last night I couldn't sleep. At all. I finally gave up on sleep and worked on homework.

Turns out the little piece of cake I had for desert contained coffee. I don't drink coffee, and even a can of soda can give me a buzz, but apparently this little piece of cake contained enough caffeine to keep me awake for 7 freaking hours.

I've always known that I'm a lightweight, but holy crap.

...You sure? The Constitution was written before slavery even became an issue in general politics. As in nearly a hundred years before.

What? Hello, Three-Fifths Compromise? Banning the external slave trade in 1800? The Missouri Compromise? The Corwin Amendment? The Fugitive Slave Act? Dred Scott v. Sanford? The god damned Civil War?

The Constiution was written in 1787, and even then slavery was a big issue both inside and outside the United States. Most of the founders, even the slaveholders, were of the opinion that slavery was beyond their means to abolish even if it was wrong, but would be gotten rid of in time. They were right, but I don't think they foresaw it happening like it did.

I don't drink Coffee and pretty much have never drank it... and I know how coffee flavor tastes because it smells like it tastes.

Coffee cake is very different from your typical cake in crumblyness.

It depends largely on how moist it is, much like "normal" cake, at least in my experience. But coffee cake is far tastier.
